Insolvency Practitioners Workshop

TBeST Law LLP participated in the first ever Insolvency Practitioners Training Program organized by the World Bank Group held from 4 – 6 April 2023 at the Hyatt Regency.

The aim of the workshop was to train and develop a highly skilled Ethiopian cohort of Insolvency Practitioners.

TBeST Law participated as a workshop leader through its Managing Partner, Dr. Taddese Lencho, who is also the drafter of Book Three of the current Ethiopian Commercial Code along with French insolvency jurist, Professor Reinhard Dammand and as a practitioner through one of its partners – Tibebe Zewdu.

The workshop was composed of themes covering the main elements of insolvency including Preventive Structuring, Reorganization and Bankruptcy including simplified bankruptcy.
